Review: Lloyds is very much a sales bank, with strong belief in that there is a Lloyds product available and suitable for every customer that walks through the door, therefore expectation is very high, however the way in which you are perceived by Lloyds as a seller and by the customer as a pest! It is very difficult to give full holistic financial advice through a very limited range of products and also might I say in some ways not particularly good value for money. Lloyds however do invest a lot of time and money in there staff and appreciate there feedback, however they don't take anything on board. Very good payers, but just like in the merchant of venice, they very much much like there pound of flesh and more. Overall a very good training ground for a newly qualified financial adviser.

Review: Really good company to work for, pay and benefits are excellent and the working patterns are superb for a retail job (every other saturday off!) The training is also very good as you travel around the country meeting people at the same level as you, good way to learn and also to make friends who are in a similar situation. Working hours vary from store to store as does their flexibility (depends who your boss is) all levels of the workforce are very open and honest which makes for a very comfortable place to work. There is regular communication from the highest echelons of management.
